This notice explains what happens to your personal data when you contact Symbiosis Leadership AB or visit this website. It is written to meet the information requirements in Articles 13 and 14 of the General Data Protection Regulation.
Symbiosis Leadership AB is the data controller. Organisationsnummer 559520-8801, with its registered seat in Sotenäs, Sweden.
For anything in this notice, including any request about your data, write to alexander@symbiosisleadership.com. Your message comes to me, Alexander Schmidt, and I answer it myself.
This website has no contact form, no sign-up, no newsletter, and no analytics. It does not collect anything from you.
Personal data reaches me in one way only: when you choose to email me. In that case I hold whatever you decide to send, which is usually your name, your email address, where you work, and what you write about your situation or your interest in a retreat.
I use what you send to reply to you, to have the conversation you got in touch about, and where relevant to work out whether a Retreat to Progress cohort is a fit for you and you for it.
Where you are contacting me about taking part in a retreat or another engagement, the legal basis is Article 6(1)(b), steps taken at your request before entering into a contract. For general correspondence and professional contact, the basis is Article 6(1)(f), my legitimate interest in responding to people who write to me and in maintaining professional relationships. You can object to processing on that basis at any time.
I do not use your data for advertising, I do not add you to any mailing list, and I do not sell, rent, or share it for anyone else's purposes.
I keep expressions of interest for as long as the conversation is live, and delete them once it is clear that a cohort place is not going ahead. Where you have asked to be kept in mind for a later cohort, I keep your details until you tell me otherwise.
Correspondence connected to an engagement that goes ahead is kept for as long as the working relationship lasts, and afterwards for as long as Swedish accounting and tax law requires records to be retained.
I do not share your data with other people or organizations, other than the service providers I rely on to run a business email account and this website. Those are:
These providers act on my instructions and process data outside the EU and EEA, principally in the United States, under the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.
The typefaces on this site are currently loaded from Google Fonts. This means your browser requests the font files from Google, and your IP address is visible to Google as part of that request. No cookie is set and nothing is stored on your device.
This website sets no cookies. It does not use local storage, tracking pixels, analytics, or any other technique that stores or reads information on your device.
That is why you will not find a cookie banner here. There is nothing to consent to.
Under the GDPR you can ask me to give you a copy of the data I hold about you, correct it if it is wrong, delete it, restrict what I do with it, or provide it in a portable form. You can object to processing based on legitimate interest. Write to alexander@symbiosisleadership.com and I will respond within one month.
There is no automated decision-making and no profiling. Decisions about cohort places are made by me, in conversation with you.
If you think I have handled your data badly, I would rather hear it from you first. You also have the right to complain to the Swedish supervisory authority, Integritetsskyddsmyndigheten (IMY), at imy.se.
If what I do with personal data changes, I will update this page and the date at the top.
